This feels like an African take on American Gods, centered around a heist and with a decently done romance to boot. It’s incredibly refreshing to see. The out-of-sequence storytelling was also pretty well done.

This was ok! Very different from The Hating Game, which I adored, but more full of really clever turns of phrase and with more complex and interesting characters. The Hating Game had me constantly saying “that’s so funny” and “that’s so hot.” This was more “That’s so interesting.”
Still hot though.
