I had heard good things about the Apple TV+ series, Slow Horses. I wanted to read at least the first book to see if I'd be interested in pursuing it. I'll be honest, I struggled a little bit at the beginning. The near-constant jumps between the large cast of the Sleugh House made it hard to ground myself in the world. I stuck with it because Mick Herron has a way with words that I really enjoyed. The lack of chapters was weird, but I'm glad I stuck with it because once I got to everything coalescing in the last third I could not put the book down!
