Still trying to figure out whether to invest $$ and time into this. Listening to a podcast about it is helping some (youtu.be/NcIKG65BTrM?si=A1ENvO6bVGn1tFO1) though it’s m wondering:
Do I need to know stuff about Spinoza and/or cybernetics to make sense of this book? Cause I very much DON’T know stuff about them.
Am I gonna be able to tolerate what the podcast hosts repeatedly say — that “organization is already everywhere” — though my gut reaction is to say that this is cause of hegemony of existing systems and the legacy of specific histories and actors (again… gotta make my way through a couple Gerald Horne books to get solid on that point) rather than some universal omnipresence??
