Nghi Vo: City in Glass (2024, Doherty Associates, LLC, Tom)

A demon. An angel. A city.

The demon Vitrine—immortal, powerful, and capricious—loves the dazzling city …

Emotionally and intellectually satifying

A story of a demon and an angel, emotionally satisfying and interesting.

The emotional story is wonderful, conclusive, with very innovative plot points.

The writing is very poetic. The poetry actually gives a kind of distance, which works well, since it's mostly told from the point of view of an immortal. You feel separate from the people, but intimately tied to their actions.
