When I read this book in year 6, everyone thought I was so intelligent because it was one of the thickest books in the school library. But Jurassic Park is an easy read, made even easier by the sheer love of finding out of my favourite movie was based on a book.

I wasn't disappointed; the book has so many more descriptions and explanations that the movie and kept my attention right until the end. If I wasn't already reading four books at once (one of the drawbacks of working in a library), I'd reread it just to soak up the sheer awesomeness of dinosaurs running wild.
