Yes, I am a sucker for vampire novels. I have read pretty much every one that I came across since I was a kid. This one ticks a lot of the boxes. It is fun, has a pretty original world. I like to see a vampire novel set in modern America, in which Vampires are not a secret. It is fun. The House of Night schools are a cool idea. There is decent plot, and okay-ish characters. If it weren't for my love of vampires, I would probably give this a 2, but as I like pretty much anything to do with them, it gets a 3.
