Ever since the gods of Ancient Egypt were unleashed in the modern world, Carter Kane and his sister, Sadie, have been in trouble. As descendants of the House of Life, the Kanes have some powers at their command, but the devious gods haven't given them time to master their skills at Brooklyn House, a training ground for young magicians. A fast paced adventure featuring lots of emotions and a complex web of characters. Which isn't surprising for this author
¡He disfrutado muchísimo de esta historia! Una novela muy divertida y emocionante, he querido mucho a los personajes y también he sufrido por ellos. Hay un par de cosas que no me han gustado, pero se merece mis estrellas de todas formas porque me lo he pasado genial leyendo y he marcado más de 50 frases según leía (cuando normalmente marco... cero).
I do like this series and I've been having a blast listening to them with my 8 year old son. I liked the first book better but he liked this one better. So there you go.
