There's so much about what Welsh was trying to do with some of the characters, especially Spud, in this book to like. But there's so many characters I don't care about. That and how it contains so many 'fails the pub test' scenes that, once they'd finished making the bloody porno, I just wanted it over. I hope the actual movie is better.
