Mukavasti kirjoitettu kevyt kirja, jossa omalaatuinen kahvilanpitäjä ratkoo murhamysteeriä.

Kirjan hahmot ovat kaikki omalla tavallaan rikki, eikä kukaan ole täydellinen. Kaikista myös paljastuu uusia asioita kirjan edetessä niin, että kirja pitää otteessaan loppuun asti.

Välillä tuli nälkä, kun kirjassa kuvaillaan maukkaita kiinalaisia ruokia. Ja teetä teki mieli, kun tapahtumat olivat enimmäkseen siinä teehuoneella.

I would only recommend the audiobook version of this novel. The narration from Eunice Wong for Vera and all the characters are amazing. The writing is just okay. Not the strongest. Story too. Everything is sort of basic. Nothing too special. I couldn't feel very invested in the characters but it is a cozier, easy read.

This cover is so cool and cute at the same time

I really enjoyed this more than Dial A for Aunties, the author mixed interesting and funny characters, all relatable in some areas, a mystery ofc (that I only half guessed), lots of delicious food and interesting bits about teas and their flavors haha, and a little found family and interesting dynamics, very cute
