I love Sedaris's writing, but this book kind of fell flat for me. Some of the stories were hilarious ("SantaLand Diaries" comes to mind), but others . . . not so much. I think part of the reason is that I've read/heard a number of these stories elsewhere, so it didn't seem fresh to me. I'd probably recommend some of Sedaris's other, larger collections before this one.
