Review of 'Night Over Water' on 'Goodreads'

My first Ken Follett book. It turned out to be extremely less suspenseful than the description led me to believe. Lots of deep character development. Much different sort of book than I am used to. It was ok but by no means one that kept me riveted to the story. I didn't think all the extremely descriptive sex scenes added to the plot of the book either but many others have already commented on that and apparently that is part of his writing style.
