Oh my god I can't do it. I tried. I really did, but this is just the absolute pits. I haven't read anything this utterly horrendous, this utterly 'white' and this utterly shallow in a long, long time.

This book is in first person featuring one of the most single-handedly unlikeable characters I've ever had to be stuck with. I hate Andrea. I hate her privileged whining and condescending descriptions of people who are different from herself. I hate how she 'can't tell her Indian roommates apart hurr hurt", how she sits "Indian-style", etc etc.

I managed 103 pages. That's all I can do. I can't do anymore.
