Wouldn't it figure that the last one of these published, to date, is the one that ends with a bombshell? Seriously, folks, NOT COOL. Flavia is such a refreshing character. I can't get enough of her voice. The mystery part of this series is a little silly, but I love Flavia!

Review of 'Speaking from Among the Bones (Flavia de Luce, #5)' on 'Goodreads'

4 stars

Flavia, the sleuth in this detective novel, is a precocious twelve years old obsessed with chemistry and especially with poisons. She also enjoys solving crimes, especially murders. When a church organist in a small English village where Flavia lives with her father and her two sisters was found murdered in a church Flavia pretty much had to find out who did it.
Amusing, witty, well written and generally fun to read novel.
