Really enjoyable trilogy with lovely Sonea at it's center and she doesn't even get a happy ending either. It's a well written easy read.

Trudi Canavan's books were recommended to me while I was searching for something to read at a Waterstone's in Northern Ireland. I have to say, it was well worth the cost in euros. Enchanting, entrancing, compelling, and well-developed. A must for fantasy-lovers.
