Das Buch hat viele Elemente, die mir gefallen und die größere Plotidee - Menschen die gegen ihr Schicksal kämpfen - war super. Was mir nicht so gefiel, war das über viele Buchstrecken lange Nacherzählen oder Zusammenfassen von Lebensphasen - sehr wenig schien 'jetzt' zu passieren. Das hat dem Buch leider etwas sehr Lebloses gegeben zuweilen.
