An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth

This is an excellent book. Very well written and funny. But also a great resource for safety engineering, and an excellent lesson at just enjoying the daily joyfulness of life.

Not quite what I expected. I thought it would be a whole series of comments and profundities. Instead its a fascinating glimpse into just how complex and demanding the job is, and as you read this the profundities are developed in a very subtle way. Very pleased to have read this, and also to have come to some similar conclusions in my own life. Gives a real sense of perspective on almost everything.
