I wasn't sure what I expected when I picked up this book. I was left with a meh feeling overall. It praises Instagram, how it came to be in early 2010s, boomed in the market, and how they tried to get a following and user base amongst popular people. No doubt, they have changed the whole social media over the past decade, and the way we interact with companies and famous people overall. It has a sneaky way of selling you products, and all the while making money from advertising, naturally.
It explores in depth about the selling of Instagram to Facebook, and how they were managed separately, with animosity being from Facebook if insta fared any better and was exceeding their productivity as expected.
