This book is a very sweet, beautiful children’s book about life and friendship and love. It’s written and illustrated by the same person, with some wonderful watercolor art and stunning calligraphy. But it’s also just full of profound messages — and some funny ones as well.

Ja, ich weiß, das ist ein Bilderbuch - also HÖRBUCH?? Aber das gab's bei Bookbeat und auf mein (gedrucktes) Buch muss ich noch bis mindestens Montag warten. Also habe ich auf Empfehlung von Zwischen-tausend-Zeilen-Ruth das Hörbuch gehrört und es soooo schön! Vogelzwitschern und ein sehr bedächtiger, sehr britischer Erzähler - hach! Und ich mag den Maulwurf, für den Kuchen so ziemlich immer die beste Lösung ist... I like how you are thinking, Moley-Guy! ;-) "It is a tea stain. And where there is tea, there is cake"... - hach!
