A New Context and a Fitting End

The new context of the first part of this book refreshed the series for me. Having Torin be outside a military structure was a reframing of her character that helped me feel invested in the story. This one delivered with stakes that fit perfectly.

Good book, but not as captivating as the others in the series

I did enjoy this one as well, but I don't really feel that it had the same feeling as the others in the series, still very much worth a read :)

No rating

The usual super-sergeant dashing adventure, in space. Now she's not an active duty Marine, and has to rely on her own abilities. This is no real problem, since she also no longer has officers to cope with.
