ANY DUCHESS WILL DO is quite possibly the best book of Tessa Dare's Spindle Cove series. It was so much fun to read that I didn't want to put it down, and I seriously considered staying home from work the day I received the ARC to read it. Luckily it was a Friday, so I could spend the weekend curled up with Griffin and Pauline. I loved Pauline and that she was dirt poor-really poor, not just because her lout of a brother gambled away their fortune-but her family lived in a shack and she had a job poor. I loved that even though Griffin picked Pauline to spite his mother, he really liked her from the beginning. I loved that Griffin's mother knew he picked Pauline to spite her, but knew Pauline could be a duchess anyway.

If you like the Spindle Cove series, chances are you will like this book as well. It's completely stand alone and doesn't need to be read in order, but since previously featured couples show up, having some familiarity with them would only enhance your enjoyment of ANY DUCHESS WILL DO. I read this in less than 48 hours, and I just can't get enough of this series. Even if the next book comes out next month (it's not), it would be too long to have to wait. Write faster, Tessa!
