This is the first Moyes book I've read. I wasn't really disappointed with the book, but there were parts I thought dragged on a bit. Oh, and also, the dog doesn't die, which makes me happy. :)
Joah- ganz nett! Besser als die Handvoll Worte, nicht ganz so gut wie das Ganze Halbe Jahr. Eine solide Liebesschmonzette mit interessanten Charakteren und einer ganz interessanten Story. Das kann sie, die Frau Moyes. Und die Audiblevorleserin ist auch recht angenehm - reisst mich nicht vom Hocker, ist vielleicht manchmal einen Tick eintönig, aber erträglich.
I really loved the book. The beginning, the middle, the end. The characters are great, the family constellation. That is a modern story! About tolerance. Ways of living and thinking! If you feel like you don't belong anywhere, you have just not found the right people. Or you have to get to know those who are around you. Oh this would make a great film!
