Rune, it's not as if we have orientation materials for new Arcana. There’s not a training module titled Shit We Keep Secret.

This one was a little hard for me to get into initially. The persistent mentions of the pandemic were one reason: while this is an urban fantasy series, I don’t feel like the story of this type requires this much grounding in reality. Moreover, New Atlantis is such a separate location. While it has humans living alongside magic beings, it’s pretty disconnected from the rest of the world, and its residents have wards, healing spells, rejuvenation technologies, and the ability to use infectious diseases to fuel magic. It just doesn’t make sense they would be affected by the pandemic the same way we were, so it took me out of the story a bit early on. There was also a bit of a disjointed sense to the start. …

Cute, again!

Not that much of a fan of love-rivals, but I feel like this will be more or less the only way for Himari to realize her feelings. Although, then again, you can also be jealous over your platonic friends.
Somehow the only way to distinguish between romantic and platonic feelings, is kissing or more than that. And if you're ace, it'll be almost impossible to tell the difference. Props to all aces if you've figured it out. :0
I really felt Mari's insecurity and confusion about what love really is and how you know whether you love-love someone.

It's nice to have cooking club representations, as those are very rare in anime/manga, for some reason.
Sad to see Yori being so jealous, when Mari is learning to cook and bake, just so she can give her Senpai some goods. Although it's very understandable, since Mari gets close with …

Review of 'Saga, Volume Two (dupe)' on 'Storygraph'
