Simply Delightful

I heard about this book from a colleague, since he mentioned it as a reading challenge for October. The book describes each day from October 1st to 31st in the life of Snuff, a dog involved in a mysterious "game" (that you will figure out more and more with each day) together with his master, Jack.

I loved reading a chapter each day. They are pretty short, so I always had to hold back not to read more. I might read this again next year!

It’s the reason for the spooky season

One of those rare novels that manages to pull off a creative concept with a large cast while keeping its story airtight and controlled. Nothing is left for you to wonder the ‘what-it’s’ on - your questions are answered, and then some. Quite a feat for a book short enough to be read in an afternoon.

This is one of my favorite Zelazny books! I read this almost every year in October (naturally). This is an amusing book, that brings in many classic monsters and blends everything with the Cthulhu mythos.
