Gah, I wanted to like this at a few points, but the plants-are-good-not-evil-ai are just capitalism which reveals itself to be sorry for killing the disobedient animals it enslaves and we are told is better than human violent tendencies or the agricultural utopian dreams of the original colonists who's kids kill them for the convenience that the plants offer.
