Angry misanthrope musings on the wildness of Utah's national parks and monuments from before they paved access into Arches NP, lots I can agree with in his critiques of Industrial Tourism and appreciation of time in inhospitable nowhere. But it suffers from masculine adolescent tone and some filler essays.
