A very compelling story.
For those of us obsessed with guns - it is rather a rare find, to get a hold on something written by a pro - get some thoughts on long range marksmanship etc.
Especially for EU people.

It is full of arrogance and bs though.
The task was to promote the idea of US soldiers defending their land.... thousands of miles away from home, same as they did with Vietnam.
Well, Europeans don't really buy this shit, doesn't work like this

I gave this book at extra star because at least Kyle had the courage to include chapters written by his wife that are real and honest.

I struggle with giving a book like this a less than stellar rating because I really respect what he did for our country, but this book (like Lone Survivor and No Easy Day) lacks any nuance or hint of the inner struggle of being a killer. In fact, Chris revels in his role with no hesitations, no reflection, no remorse. He hates the Iraqis, even those that are considered allies. It doesn't even deal with what I imagine is a very real struggle when returning to normal life. He just crashes into everything he attempts.
