I'm not really sure what exactly to think about this... except maybe that it's a neat pulpy idea that needed more... more story, character development, and more... something. It also needed less explaining what's going on and why it's important.

There's more of a mid-century literary feel (think Burroughs or Pynchon) than I was perhaps expecting. The subject matter itself is a history that never was. Interesting, but not for everyone.
