The Art of War is an ancient Chinese military treatise dating from the Late Spring and Autumn Period (roughly 5th century BC). The work, which is attributed to the ancient Chinese military strategist Sun Tzu ("Master Sun", also spelled Sunzi), is composed of 13 chapters. Each one is devoted to a different set of skills (or "art") related to warfare and how it applies to military strategy and tactics. For almost 1,500 years it was the lead text in an anthology that was formalized as the Seven Military Classics by Emperor Shenzong of Song in 1080.

I truly enjoy reading works concerning ancient warfare, even though the public image of ‘The Art of War’ by Sun Tzu has, in my humble opinion, been partially corrupted by our modern greed-filed spirit in order to capitalise on ancient wisdom, I still find myself capable of discovering content that discusses this piece of work without turning it into some sort of marketing + self-help atrocity.

I spent my time reading this book while savouring some freshly prepared black tea, listening to Chinese traditional music, and pretending to be the sole surviving heir of an army general readying myself for more mature military studies, so overall an enjoyable experience.

It's a great book, but I'm not sure this is the best or most intuitive translation. I'm inclined to ask the prospective reader to peruse several translations, if possible, before settling on one.

Otherwise, no major faults, certain weird sentence structures were unnecessary.
