It's an offbeat little fantasy, very episodic, with some beautiful language. I look forward to re-reading it in a year or two.

Wonderfully enchanting novel with no peer.
I loved the second half of the book. Let's say four and half stars. It took a while (roughly the first quarter to third of the book) for the characters and world of this story to really develop for me. However, there was a certain point where I became entirely invested and the rest of the book raced along. Very, very good.
