I just don’t care about these people.
A spy between missions saves the life of a former mercenary and former body gard. Together they run away with the help of the spy’s friends, of a turtle-like species. Between two lines in the last chapter the two protagonist hav sex. The end.
The writing is OK, altho some parts ar a bit odd. Why don’t the mercenaries ever use the protagonist’s name and just call her “Redhead” instead?

Zeerust is normal for something over 30 years old, but that doesn’t mean i hav to like books like that. My copy looks quite a bit older, the paper has yellowd considerably, and it reads like it looks now, as if it was from the 1960s, not like something that came out slightly after the first episodes of Star Trek: TNG.
