I get it and all, but it's a real tedious and boring read.
Everything that Woolf wrote about 100 years ago still holds very true today!! She talks about the necessity of an income (for women) and a room of their own (with a lock on the door!). She also absolutely eviscerates incels (multiple times in the text). In the end, her call to action is amazing. Imploring the women she was talking to, to seize the day since they had so many more opportunities that the previous generation did not. The book is written in signature Woolf style, with lot of streams of consciousness and is very beautiful. :)
"Chloe liked Olivia perhaps for the first time in literature."
