"Foucalt excavated how different eras organize knowledge differently, revealing that our current epistemic frameworks are not inevitable but contingent.

Came across this book in "Care for the Soul".

"The Renaissance humanist Erasmus says in his book In Praise of Folly that people are joined in friendship through their foolishness."

I'm somewhat drawn to this, I admire folly and foolishness as ways of being, and would like to explore this thread more.

Read a quote from this book that I enjoyed:

Interesting tidbits and perspectives, but sadly has a strong vibe of "this is what I think and I'm gonna find/frame evidence to support this".

Would have loved a more serious book engaging with these topics.
