Stewart, Ian: Taming the Infinite (Paperback, 2009, Hodder & Stoughton)

From ancient Babylon to the last great unsolved problems, an acclaimed mathematician and popular science …

I like it!

Stewart talks about some really interesting stuff in this book, but it sometimes dragged on too much. That and the mistakes in formatting (Is that what you call it?), spelling, etc. in the 8th edition of the Turkish translation (published by Alfa) made it harder to read (I FINISHED THIS BOOK IN MORE THAN A YEAR). It's great otherwise!

Hanokage (Artist), Magica Quartet: Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Vol. 3 (Paperback, 2012, Yen Press)

Madoka is horrified to learn the true nature of the witches she and her friends, …

WHAT WAS THAT???

Content warning Talk about the ending

Stephen Hawking: Black Holes: The Reith Lectures

It was very fun

I'm not very interested in space and astronomy, but I enjoyed this book a lot! Very clear explanations and some nice drawings here and there.

The Turkish translation has some foreword/background information written by Kerem Cankoçak. That too was well-written. I advise you to not skip it as it contains some very useful info.

reviewed Otisabi - Manga Serisi 1 by Yılmaz Aslantürk (Otisabi Manga Serisi, #1)

Yılmaz Aslantürk: Otisabi - Manga Serisi 1 (Paperback, Turkish language, Komik Şeyler)

Otisabi, büyük şehrin tuzaklarına aşina, bir ilişkiyi başlatma ve bitirme konusunda her çeşit reçeteyi deneyen, …

Good, but some aspects were questionable

I really like the art style, but some parts of the story made me raise a brow. I feel like parts of the story were misogynistic (plus there were other kinds of bigotry here and there). Not sure if it reflects the views of the author or not. I hope it doesn't reflect his views.

I see a ton of potential in the later books in the series though (there's vol. 2, 3, and 4)! Will definitely read them when I get the chance!
