Lord of Candy reviewed The Inheritance Trilogy by Jemisin N. K. (The Inheritance Trilogy, #1-3.5)

This is a fantastic--fantastical--series. World building, nay, universe building, gods, godlings, with concepts beyond interpretation and a writing style that keeps you vividly wrapt.
From primordial concepts, emotional seas, delicate mortals, vengeful and affinity driven gods. It was a wild ride and I am certainly glad I got the tour. The final 3.5 touch was a beautiful beautiful way to end the world and I snorted/laughed more than a few times on the evolving prose and perspective.
I read this fast enough and while I had meant to review each one in succulent detail the next one pressed into my desire and I gobbled them all up with just a great mishmash of a meal well served but I cannot striate the layers of the dishes. I hope you enjoy the banquet as well, it was awesome.
