Just finished the omnibus--overall this was an enjoyable read. After reading Weeks backwards in releases I can see the growth he has had. I mainly enjoyed the pacing of the series but thought it took a bit too many detours in development here and there, adult themes were good but the bespoke on sexuality was a bit--off and the few spiritual components were overmined. They weren't overly preachy but it started feeling odd after a while (mainly bk 2.)

Otherwise the landscape, characters, systems, all made for a fun read. When I catch myself laughing, 'OH NO'-ing, and smirking at a moment I know it was a good row.

I'd enjoy Weeks coming back to this property one day as it still feels like a series (or world) to be continued. With his matured mindset and style it would be banner.
