I got impatient waiting for the sequel to the movie and decided to just go ahead and start reading this book. First of all, I absolutely loved reading this from cover to cover. This has definitely become one of my favorite book series already and I can't wait to start reading the other books. I'm curious to see what all they'll put in the movie adaptation and what will be cut. I especially enjoyed all the lengthy descriptions of houses, restaurants, food, etc. Another thing I really enjoyed about this book is how Kevin Kwan used newspaper articles, news broadcasts, liveblog articles, and other forms of media for exposition and dialogue as a way to change things up every once and a while as well as showing events from a different perspective. Very creative!
