I found Wind and Truth to be a disappointing end to this Era arc. I find the ending somewhat reminiscent of Eddings (who, while I love, is predictable) where there is an epic battle to .. reject/shun the big bad? The meta plot remains and I felt Sanderson wanted his cake and to eat it too. I am not a master plotter, but it appears a LOT of corners were cut in order to bring Roshar back into the Cosmere timeline while still keeping things unchanged.

Not to detract from the plot planning of the author, the entire first two books were hiding a litany of secrets from the characters. So unfortunately plot progress doesn’t happen as much as backstory is filled in. The world building is incredible but we are left wanting more especially as this book ends on multiple cliff hangers.
