Great read about a little girl surviving and struggling with a childhood in the slums of Brazil and eventually ending up adopted by a family in Sweden. She's torn between two lives, two families, two home countries. Beautifully written memoir.

The book is mostly about making Japanese dictionaries. The story around that content, along with the dialog, often felt forced and a little fake.

Bill Nye is not the most engaging writer. But he makes very good points and has a lot of good ideas (and some crazy ones).

Fantastic book about end of life issues. Should be required reading for medical and nursing schools. Highly recommended.

Not a real engrossing read. But still very motivational.

The main story was fun. The back story, less so. It was almost as if the author wrote the main story, realized it wasn't enough for a book, and so filled the rest of the book with something taken from Mr. Peabody and Sherman.
