As a whole, this collection was interesting, gripping, and thought-provoking. From Gaiman's introductions, I found myself adding numerous novels to my to-read shelf. I also learned a great deal about his writing process and took away a fair amount that I hope to incorporate into my own work. Although I'd be lying if I said I found every essay/speech enthralling, the vast majority were intriguing and worthwhile.

I also listened to the audiobook and would highly recommend doing the same. It wouldn't have been the same without Neil's narration.
