My reaction from every RA Salvatore book is the same. They all feel like a guilty pleasure, but they're a pleasure to read just the same. This one is no different. It isn't especially deep. There's nothing that I'll think at length about tomorrow. But I couldn't quit reading and will jump straight into the rest of the Icewind Dale trilogy.

Started reading shortly on a recommendation from a coworker. Really enjoying it after the first few chapters. Fantasy novels aren't often relaxing, but this one seems to be so far. I guess the only downside is that I'll likely finish it by the weekend
