20 years after watching the first movie and deciding to read the books someday, I finally managed.
I was not disappointed and enjoyed this first book (or rather: 2 volumes) very much. Interesting to see all the differences and what the movie omitted or invented. I was initially afraid of how long this book would be, but it was much shorter than expected.
Cannot wait to continue with the next book/volume.
