Review of 'The View from the Cheap Seats: Selected Nonfiction' on 'Goodreads'

5 stars

Gaiman's essays on fiction, on writing, and on reading are the most interesting in this collection of essays, forewords, and speeches. Many of the forewords seem repetitive, some are interesting, some aren't. His last section are the words of a man who has seen much life, and sees his mortality.

It's a good collection of Gaiman's non fiction. If you're interested in his work, I recommend giving it a go. If you're reading, be willing to skip around. Mark the essays that are most interesting.

If you're listening, you get to listen to Gaiman read his work, which is always enjoyable.
