you ever find out that there's a major event of american history that ... a well educated non-US nation has no idea about, like the Civil War or something like that?
this is like that for german history, had no idea of the ideological importance of 1500s era German peasants revolting againist serfdom. really good overview, great narrative and a interesting dive into german historiography
