Jonas Jonasson: Hundred year old Man Who Climbed Out Of The Window And Disappeared (2012, Hesperus Press Ltd)

Review of 'Hundred year old Man Who Climbed Out Of The Window And Disappeared' on 'Goodreads'

Wonderful, brilliant, witty, amusing, fascinating, excellent.

This is a book that has a good if fanciful storyline, and a really nice style - it's almost as if it is a childrens' book (it isn't) and it's wonderfully heartwarming to read. I loved this book, and couldn't put it down.

There's little more that I can add, to be honest, without giving away too much of the plot: but I would recommend that you read it. I would give it six stars if I could. Or even more. Eight, maybe. Or twenty-seven.

It's a light and easy book to read, and - as always - I read it on the Kindle, which copes perfectly with it.

If you read only one book this year, make it this one. I know lots of people say things like this, but really, genuinely, this book is worth that rather hackneyed phrase.

Wonderful.
