Interesents stāsts. Ļoti jūtami uzsvars likts uz LGBT+, uz vietniekvārdiem. Sākumā tas ļoti cirtās ausīs, bet kādā brīdī pieradu. Savā ziņā tas ir mazliet loģiski, jo, ja iedomājamies nākotni, kura eksistē daudz un dažādas domājošās sugas, kas izaugušas dažādos galaktikas nostūros, tad tikai loģiski, ka to bioloģija un kultūra ir krasi atšķirīga. Dīvāni liekas, ka saskaņā ar grāmatas Visumu, šis citplanētu sugas arī šobrīd vizinās un lido mums apkārt. Bet neiziet uz kontaktu, jo cilvēce vēl nav pietiekami attīstījusies. Vecs triks, ko izmanto daudzās grāmatās. Nezinu vai tas ir labs triks, bet katrā ziņā es esmu pie tā pieradis. Man patika, ka tas bija nevis viena varoņa stāsts, bet gan vienas apkalpes stāsts, stāstīts no dažādiem skatpunktiem. Pārslēgšanās dažreiz likās dīvaina - re, tagad mēs attīstīsies Rozmariju, bet tagad Korbena tēlu, jo viņš vēl ne reizi nav bijis attīstīts. Kizija un Džinks mani mazliet mulsināja. A page-turner. Simple yet interesting. I was a bit disappointed in the ending. It was all too abrupt. It was a bit undeserved. Either that or there were too much setup that flew over my head.

My key takeaway from this experience - a drama through space and time.

I picked up the book at random via Guthrnberg. I hoped it would be a social parody of pompous people, but after finishing chapter one I realised it is a chic flick made 100 years ago. Nothing wrong with chick flicks, but at this time this is not for me.
