(started with the audiobook, finished with the paperback) Fascinating. Interesting for the look back at what computers and networks were like in the 1980s. Fun to see mention of software and organizations that have been around since then (or earlier): emacs, VI, Mitre, others. Also learned about Ingres, which I gather was a predecessor of Postgres, and is still around today. And neat to see the beginnings of infosec, and recognize some of the same foundational principles and techniques (detecting attackers, patching vulnerabilities, strong passwords).

Also, love that the epilogue covers the Morris worm.
