Just like the other two in this series I'm really enjoying it a lot, Elizabeth Moon really knows how to do competency porn the right way, good people being caring and good to each other is something that I never really get enough of :)
And it's not too militaristic ?
I enjoy war fantasy/sci-fi like Game of Thrones or Startide Rising but specifically because they're not really militaristic, they're books about civilians having to go to war or servicemen who try not to be authoritarian.
@lienrag@mastodon.tedomum.net I don't feel like they are at least, this is more about a trader, with a military training, but mainly being a trader getting into some bigger stuff, it's really more about a trading becoming a privateer, So it doesn't really have things like Hierarchies and stuff like that, I at least really enjoyed this :)
