The book is huge and black and has an image of the Sega Mega Drive embossed on the cover. It looks great in the bookshelf or on the coffee table. But there is more.
The first part of the book tells the story of the Sega Mega Drive / Genesis mainly from an American perspective. This may sound off-putting to some, but it is quite exciting how Sega of America managed to increase the market share of Sega from 5% to over 50%.
The next part features blueprints and photos of the different versions of the console as well as accessory and game art. The selection of games may seem quite limited at first, but it does a perfect job of illustrating the third part of the book.
