I enjoyed reading about the PM's youth, and what brought him into politics and how he got elected. I am a new Canadian so did not grow up with the knowledge of the family in the same ways as perhaps people who have lived here all their live. Conclusion - he is eminently likeable - as he is in real life.

Some good tips but written from a lot of privilege
4 stars
I like some of the things he says about improving mental health by not judging by others and not always having to be the best and appreciating what you have. But I can't help feeling that "Not Giving a Fuck" is a very privileged position to be in. Those who are disadvantaged by circumstance or discrimination may not have the luxury of this position.
Matthew reviewed Dare to Lead by Brené Brown
Brené at peak Brené
4 stars
If you like Brené, you will love the book. I do like her story telling and I am all for being "awkward, brave and kind". We need more leaders who embrace this full-hearted, authentic form of leadership. If you lead... read it.. if you dare.
Bit out of date but has lots of tips and tricks you should be using
4 stars
It is a bit outdated but still some useful tips on how to use tools (mainly Google tools) to organize yourself a little better. If you are in chaos you will learn a lot but if you have spent time trying to refine your personal organizing systems you may pick up a tip or two or learn nothing and feel smug at your achievements. Worth a read.
Matthew reviewed Against All Enemies (Max Moore, #1) by Tom Clancy
Mind-numbingly awful - I loved it.
3 stars
Completely formulaic action adventure romp - I loved it. Put brain into neutral, try not to be analytical and enjoy the ride. Too many people dying remind you how awful the world can be.
