Started listening to the audiobook version. So far so good? Not mesmerizing, but interesting enough to hold my attention thus far.

Started this audiobook today. I've been looking forward to more Brandon Sanderson, given that I'm late in discovering him. :)

Such an incredibly interesting and well written story.

I picked this off my TBR shelf and thought oh, this might be interesting, and it turns out that this is EXACTLY what I needed to read today.

"I have to believe that it is possible to do things differently. That it is possible to build a movement as 'disruptive as a riot,' yet deeply grounded in love and understanding. A resistance movement that sees its purpose in healing the wounds of society. This fractal nature of conflict is one of the reasons why we have been able to use the same exact curriculum of Kingian Nonviolence in institutions like prisons and schools, in movement settings where activists are working on systemic transformation, or in community settings where people simply want to get along with their families."

Finally listening to the audiobook. It's so good! The full cast production sounds amazing.

I could not stop listening. This book is SO good. Intricate and lovely. Prose this delicious is rarely written.

Oh, this book. Do you want to cry? Do you want to feel queer community? Do you want to feel seen (maybe uncomfortably so)? You are loved. We are all loved. This is a beautiful book.

Reading this in bits here and there, because it's poetry, and poetry needs time to wind its way through the soul.
